SPARKLING WHITE GRAPE JUICE

2-1/3 c. chilled white grape juice
4-2/3 c. chilled lemon-lime soda
green grapes

In a pitcher, combine grape juice and soda. Pour into glasses. Thread grapes on toothpick and place in each glass. Makes 7 servings.

LUSCIOUS LIME SLUSH

11 c. water
3 c. sugar
¾ c. limeade concentrate
2 liters lemon-lime soda
chilled lime slices

In a 4-qt. freezer container, combine the water, sugar and limeade concentrate until sugar is dissolved; cover and freeze. Remove from freezer several hours before serving. Chop mixture until slushy. Add soda just before serving. Garnish with lime slices if desired. Makes 30 servings.

REFRESHING WATER PUNCH

1 Tablespoon Lemon Extract
1 Tablespoon Citric Acid
2 cups sugar
5 quarts water and ice (mixture)
1 lemon sliced (optional garnish)

Mix Lemon Extract, Citric Acid, sugar, and water until dissolved. Add ice and lemon slices before serving.

TROPICAL STRAWBERRY SLUSHIES

2 cups frozen strawberries
1 cup orange juice
2 cups plain seltzer
4 tablespoons strawberry jam
2 cups ice cubes

Combine frozen strawberries, orange juice, seltzer, strawberry jam, and ice cubes in a blender and puree until smooth texture. Makes 4 servings.

SHERBET PARTY PUNCH

1 quart raspberry sherbet
2 quarts ginger ale
1 quart pineapple juice

Chill juice and ginger ale before mixing. Mix together in a large punch bowl and add sherbet in one large block just before the party starts. Makes 25 servings.

BLUE or PINK BABY SHOWER PUNCH

1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid, powder
3/4 cup sugar
2 quarts water (according to Kool-Aid directions)
1 (10 ounce) can frozen Piña Colada mix, thawed
1 (2 liter) bottle of 7-Up or Sprite
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Use Blue Raspberry (or something similar) for blue punch or Red Raspberry (or something similar) for pink Baby Shower punch. Mix the Kool-Aid, sugar, and water according to the package directions. In a large punch bowl, mix the prepared Kool-Aid, thawed Piña Colada mix, and 7-Up or Sprite. Add scoops of vanilla ice cream. A delightfully refreshing punch! Makes 25 servings.

PARADISE MANGO LEMONADE

2 cups sliced mangoes, pureed (fresh or frozen)
5 cups cold water
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 1/2 cups sugar

Dissolve the sugar in 1/2 cup of boiling water in saucepan, over low heat. Then add the 5 cups of cold water and mix in the pureed mangoes. Now add the lime juice. Serve with shaved or cubed ice. Makes 4 servings.

CREAMY PINK PARTY PUNCH

1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 quart rainbow sherbet
2 quarts pineapple juice
1 (2 liter) bottle of 7-Up or Sprite

Mash ice cream and sherbet together in punch bowl. Then add pineapple juice and soda. Make pink punch by using Raspberry sherbet, or green punch by using lime sherbet, or orange punch by using orange sherbet.

7-UP Almond Punch

1 can frozen lemonade
1 can frozen orange juice
10 cups water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup sugar
1 (2 liter) bottle 7-Up or Sprite

Mix together and chill before serving. Makes 16 servings.

1. When you use sparkling or carbonated beverages, always mix them with the punch well chilled, just before the party starts.

2. Ice dilutes the punch's perfection. For this reason, always add ice just before serving.

3. Ladle into punch cups from punch bowl on serving table. Or fill cups in kitchen, and serve refills from the punch bowl.
