Made using 100 diapers (any brand you would like), a receiving blanket, two onesies, a hat, a pacifier, a teething ring, and a stuffed monkey. It is decorated with ribbon and shredded paper. The name was added using scrapbook paper and stickers. I made the base of the cake by screwing a wooden dowel (cut to length) into a 14in cardboard cake circle. All of the diapers were rolled and secured with rubber bands, and the ribbon is secured (to itself not the diapers) with double sided tape. None of my rubber bands or tape can be seen and everything in the cake can be taken apart and used by the new mommy. My diaper cakes come wrapped in white tulle and tied with a coordinating ribbon.
